Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks scoop top Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice awards
Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks, the leading independent family-run holiday operator in North Devon, has once again defied the corporate giants by securing a clean sweep at the 2026 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards.
All three of the group’s Devon destinations - Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park, Twitchen House Holiday Park, and Easewell Farm Holiday Park - have been awarded the 2026 accolade, placing them officially in the top 10% of accommodation listings globally.
The 2026 awards mark an incredible decade of excellence, as all three holiday parks have consistently held Tripadvisor's highest honors over the last 10 years. Because Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards are calculated entirely from the unbiased, real-world reviews of families who stayed on-site over the past 12 months, the wins highlight an exceptional, sustained level of customer service.
An analysis of this year’s Tripadvisor winners shows that the best modern guest experiences are heavily driven by independent operators and smaller regional groups. In North Devon, five independent caravan sites were awarded, with no corporate (with over five sites in the group) commended.
