Everyone loves a Summer holiday, who wouldn't want to spend July to August on the beach? However, here at Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks we believe that an out of season holiday in Spring or Autumn time can be just as good (if not better). Here are some benefits of an off season holiday in the UK.
1. Escape the crowds
Outside of Summer the beaches are much much quieter giving you more space for activities on the beach with kids and dogs. Or giving you mental space to appreciate the beautiful Devon surroundings. This peaceful atmosphere is one of the biggest benefits to an out of season holiday!
2. Catch a break
Autumn and Spring are beautiful seasons of the year. However, oftentimes they can also feel like the most stressful times of year. Your children might be preparing for exams while you are settling down for work. Or maybe the wait for your Christmas or Summer plans just feel so far away. When you feel like this it could be that an off season break is just what you need to de-stress or raise your spirits, and break up the long stretch between Christmas and the July or August school Summer Holidays.
3. Don't overheat!
Even in Autumn and Spring you can experience beautiful blue sky days, so you may get some enjoyably warm weather for your out-of-season visit. But without the summer peaks, you shouldn’t have to worry too much about getting overly hot and sweaty while sitting on the beach - or making the kids sit still while you cover them with factor 50 every half an hour.
