Camping & Pitches FAQs

Super Pitches boast a range of amenities such as 16amp electric hook up, TV aerial point, drinking water, wastewater drainage, nightlight, and prime locations within the Park. Our Super pitches come in three options across our Parks:

• Super pitch on hardstanding base
• Super pitch on all-weather base
• Super pitch on extra wide all-weather base

Touring pitch is designed to accommodate touring vehicles such as caravans and motorhomes. It features a sturdy concrete base, and you have the option to select space for your awning.

Grass pitch is highly suitable for tents, caravans, motorhomes, or trailer tents.

Tent Pitch option is exclusively intended for tent campers.

Basic Camping is just a straightforward grass foundation designed exclusively for tent pitching.

Pitches vary in size but are generally 10 x 10 meters to comfortably accommodate your trailer tent, touring caravan or motorhome along with your car, gazebo, and awning.

Basic Camping and Tent Pitches at Twitchen House and Easewell Farm are smaller and parking is provided in communal car parks near your pitch.

Please note, our pitches average 10 x 10 meters but not all pitches are this size. Should you require a larger pitch, please make contact with the team prior to booking.

If you are looking to book a pitch for tents, trailer tents, touring caravans or motorhomes, then you can stay at Twitchen House or Easewell Farm.

There are no camping and touring pitches at Woolacombe Bay as this holiday park provides self-catering accommodation only.

Remember, when you stay at one of our Devon holiday parks you can use the facilities and activities on all three. Loads of fun, all in one place and many activities are free!

Most of our pitches come with electric hook up, but it is important to make sure that the pitch type you select is either a Tent Pitch, Grass Pitch, Touring Pitch or Super Pitch. Please note that if you have chosen Basic Camping then electricity hook-up will not be available.

If you have booked a pitch which includes electricity, there is no additional charge for the electricity you use. Portable generators are not permitted on any of our pitches.

For fire safety reasons, each pitch is strictly for one tent, trailer tent, touring caravan, or motorhome, accommodating up to 6 people. Certain pitches may accommodate up to 8 people, please ensure you enter the full party size when searching.

If you need extra sleeping space, you can add a pup tent to Grass, Tent, Touring, and Super Pitch bookings for £3 per pup tent, per night. Please note that pup tents are not available on Basic Camping pitches, and the maximum number of people per pitch remains the same.

At the time of booking, you have the option to indicate if you are bringing an awning. A number of our pitches do allow awning space but this is only guaranteed on Super Pitches so when selecting an awning at the time of booking. 

For the comfort and safety of all our guests, most pitches have a maximum capacity of 6 people per pitch. There are a limited number of pitches at Easewell Farm which allow up to 8 people, availability for these pitches will show at the time of booking.

Yes! We have a family bathroom available at Twitchen House. Simply visit reception to receive the access code and enjoy this convenient facility during your stay.

We offer both summer and winter storage. At Easewell Farm you can store your caravan all year round for a flat fee. You then book your holidays as you go with a small tow on and off fee and we will have your van on your pitch for your arrival. Fire pits and open fires are not allowed. We do allow barbecues, provided they are kept elevated from the ground and properly extinguished before disposal.

Yes, at Twitchen House you have access to a freezer located in the camping and touring facilities block. You can freeze your ice blocks there but please make sure they are placed in a clearly labelled bag.
