Fishing holidays

Hook line and sinker

First time fishing or seasoned pro, just bring your rod and licence and perch peacefully on the banks of our small freshwater lakes at Golden Coast and Twitchen House well stocked with carp, roach and tench. Because the beach is so close, test your skills at sea fishing too.

View Parks

Fishing in the lakes on Golden Coast and Twitchen House is free for our holiday guests and does not require a day ticket but a current UK rod licence is required for over 12s when you freshwater fish in UK inland waterways, you can find out more and buy a rod fishing licence online. Rules apply to the bait, catch, release and spinning and you must have the proper equipment including rods, landing net and unhooking mat; we do not have any fishing equipment available for hire or bait for sale. There are numerous types of wildlife that are indigenous to the lakes and anglers are requested not to leave any litter and be very careful not to discard any lines or hooks, please check with reception at your Park for full rules and regulations before you fish.

Walking holidays

Coastal walking breaks

Nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty, our four Parks are perfectly positioned to explore the North Devon section of the South West Coast Path including dog friendly Woolacombe Beach. Further afield take on the rugged moorland vistas on Exmoor National Park.
