High Praise for NEW Touring Hard Standings

Last Updated (Tuesday, 18 May 2010)

Hard standing pitches available at Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park

After a busy Christmas it seems like our newly built touring hard standings have really hit the spot with our customers and we received high praise over the festive period regarding our investment in these pitches.

We had various positive comments made and a few kind letters too, one of which was from Mr & Mrs Tew of Leicester who had this to say:

"We would like to thank Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks for the brilliant refurbishment and improvements made to the touring pitches."

"The new hard standing pitches are great, large enough for an awning, caravan and car with the benefit of arriving to a clean van and leaving a clean van without having to spend hours cleaning up before we leave - no more mud, grass cuttings, etc. trailing in the van."

"The small extra cost for the improved seasonal pitches is more than compensated for by the improvements made."

"Thanks again and thank you for giving us the ability to extend our season by adding on weeks through the winter - like the tremendous Christmas & New Year we have just experienced - without the new hard standing we would not have enjoyed the winter touring experience."

"Looking forward to the new hard standing pitches at Easewell and next season enjoying great scenery, great facilities and no more mud or grass in our caravan."

We were really pleased with the response we've had and look forward to seeing more campers and touring vans this season.  We will also continue to listen to your suggestions and endeavor to create better parks for your holiday experience.

NEW Touring Hard Standings

Last Updated (Tuesday, 18 May 2010)

new touring pitches at Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks in North Devon

After another temperamental summer with some glorious weeks and some not so, we've invested time and money into our touring pitches across our three touring parks, Golden Coast Holiday Village, Twitchen House Holiday Park and Easewell Farm Holiday Park.

A combination of customer comment over the changeable, summer season and a desire to ever improve our parks has seen these areas transform in the past few weeks.  Work will continue into November and December 2008 but work was complete at the Golden Coast for the autumn half term and feedback has been very positive which has been a great response.

These well draining, gravel pitches lie clearly defined with timber trimmed grass borders and really do look great and function very well.  We look forward to seeing our touring customers back and hope you like what you find.

Cheaper Motorhome Conversion

Last Updated (Tuesday, 18 May 2010)

On a recent visit to Merthyr Motor Auctioneers in Wales we purchased a mobile library to convert into a new promotional vehicle.  Our intention is to travel the length and breadth of the country to deliver a little bit of sunshine from Woolacombe to our potential customers.

In these times of cost saving we're still as keen as ever to promote the beauty and fun of our location and parks and taking a trip to see the friendly people at MMA proved very rewarding.

While we were there we spoke to the staff about the increasing demand for vehicles to convert into motorhomes and they showed us their stock of ambulances, perfect for conversion!

A previous customer of the auction even provided them with an article on his ambulance to motorhome conversion saving him thousands - why not take a look?
