Clovelly Visitor Centre

The tiny fishing village of Clovelly is secluded, but easy to find. It hangs on a 400ft cliff less than five minutes drive from the A39, the main road from Bideford to Bude.

This beautiful fishing village is famous for its steep cobbled streets and original charm. It remains a working fishing village with its quay dating back to the 14th century, which has a long history of fishing, smuggling and pirate activity.

Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park

The Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park is a unique theme park experience. Life size animated dinosaurs roar and spit as they did millions of years ago, and genuine dinosaur eggs can be seen in the museum.

If you're more "hands on", why not Swim with the Sea lions in their purpose built pool or attend one the daily handling sessions. Beautiful gardens and magnificent birds of prey round off the perfect day out.

Exmoor Zoo

Exmoor Zoo is unique and an unusual zoo to visit! Opened in 1982 the zoo is now an ideal family venue, especially for the younger generation.

Changes keep taking place, even a visit last year will today see new exhibits and animals!

Exmoor zoo is different from other zoos. It is not a wildlife park or a city zoo, but a more personal, friendly and contact orientated zoo which has grown into a North Devon Valley. This is reflected by the talks and encounter sessions (every half hour in the summer) a visit will show you there is a lot more here than first meets the eye!
