We are passionate about providing exceptional value and quality in our holidays and are fortunate to be located in one of the most serene and beautiful parts of the UK, virtually on the tide line of what is often referred to as one of the worlds finest beaches, Woolacombe (view Google map), the South West Coastal footpath, the U.N.E.S.C.O. biosphere at Saunton and on the fringe of the glorious Exmoor National Park. Environment
We realize our location attracts visitors through all seasons and for a variety of reasons and so our accommodation is designed with this in mind, to provide a platform for families to enjoy quality time in their own individual ways whilst minimizing our impact on the surrounding environment.
We take our responsibilities to the environment seriously, operating our own local transport, refuse and recycling and more recently in newer technologies such as water harvesting, solar energy and active lighting. From 2008 we ceased using plastic bags in our venues.
The National Caravan Council has set up a new website highlighting the green credentials of caravan holidays. On the site you can use a calculator to estimate the carbon footprint of your trip by entering the distance you are travelling and what type of car and caravan you use. It also documents how damaging other forms of travel and holidaying are - enlightening stuff!
We are constantly thinking of more ways we can help the environment as a company and also help our guests stay green too. So when ever we think we have something interesting to say we'll be posting it in our News & Events section.

Our Company
As a family owned business we happily do not answer to shareholders only our customers, we are large enough to operate leisure, sport and entertainment facilities to compete with larger corporations but small enough to tailor our holidays to each individual customer. In short we treat you like people not numbers and this is rewarded by many, many returns and even more smiles.
Reinvestment in our Parks is a major priority in an on going effort to exceed the expectations of our guests. In 2011 alone we have replaced 50 caravans, refitted 24 Exclusive Lodges and 3 Exclusive Apartments and trailed a surfing simulator at Golden Coast. This investment continues in 2012 with the creation of a new sports complex providing an unrivalled hub for families to get active together including a permanent surfing simulator, high ropes course and a whole host of other sports activities that are fun for all ages.
Our commitment is reflected by our many awards past and present England for Excellence awards for our childcare facilities and location, 5 times past winner of the Gold David Bellamy environmental award, English tourist board 4 Stars and AA Holiday Centre status.
